For the third time in a row, we were able to plan and equip the large ZDF New Year’s Eve event at the Brandenburg Gate “Celebrate at the Gate” with sound technology. This year, we also provided the projection technology including content feed to the Brandenburg Gate and mileage control for the feed to the LED surfaces on the grounds.
The enormous dimensions of the show and the typical December weather, the requirements to ensure a PA-free TV picture and the special date were challenging but not overwhelming. The experience of previous years, our CODA audio inventory and good pre-planning ensured that the show ran smoothly.
Around 65,000 guests celebrated the New Year together with presenters Andrea Kiewel and Johannes B. Kerner, stars such as Shirin David, Maite Kelly and Peter Schilling and, of course, the AMBION crew.
