Together with Billmann Events, we transformed an area of around 18,000 square meters directly in front of the Reichstag in Berlin into a fan zone for the 2024 European Championships. Included: a mini stadium in a class of its own, including space for up to 10,000 people, public viewings, soccer matches, meet + greets and concerts. The area around the stadium included the adiStudio for tattoos, hair styling and other creative activities, the EA Gamebox for gaming and a EURO Exhibition with a journey through soccer history.
We equipped the entire area with sound and lighting technology as well as rigging, planned it in advance and looked after it for the entire 31-day match. 11 rigging towers and around 600 lamps including branched cable routing above and below ground were used here. And the finest sound technology with our CODA Audio products “pushed the Reichstag back a meter”.
