CIO of the year

The prestigious CIO Award issued by the media outlets “CIO Germany” and “Computerwoche” recognizes IT decision-makers who have undertaken outstanding projects impacting the future of people, markets and companies. Projects like the networking and intelligent control and management of 122 manufacturing plants in Volkswagen’s “Industrial Cloud” – one of the largest IT projects in German industry. The Innovation Award winner Martin Hofmann (Volkswagen AG) and the CIOs of the Year Helmuth Ludwig (Siemens AG), Anke Sax (Deutsche Wertpapier Service Bank) and Friedrich-Wilhelm Menge (BVG) were recognised in a setting worthy of their accomplishments.
