Wind Room
There was a special promotional campaign for the release of the movie remake of Twisters. We designed and built a wind room where visitors could grab a movie ticket from the storm that was created there.
The basis was a beMatrix room with glass elements + plinth including a sophisticated fan ramp system for optimum leaf swirling.
The storm was started with a buzzer – in addition to the flying foliage, light and sound effects provided the perfect end-time atmosphere and an extra dose of thrills while the tickets were being snapped up.
We had fun building it and were delighted that the “ticket hunters” and customers were happy too. Special constructions are sometimes tricky, but that’s what makes the results unique.
