WeAreDevelopers
World Congress
The programming world gathered recently in Berlin at the WeAreDevelopers World Congress. More than 12,000 visitors and 500 speakers came together at the City Cube Berlin to discuss the latest trends and innovations in the industry over two days of presentations, lecures and meetings large and small. The congress was opened by the founder of the World Wide Web, Sir Tim Berners-Lee.
We were responsible for the technical realisation of the event. This included: three exhibition halls, a large main stage, several other stages for the various speakers, workshop areas, exhibition and trade fair areas as well as a major reconstruction during the event for the large evening event. Technically, we were present with rigging, lighting, sound and media technology including a 120 square metre LED wall, camera technology and disguise media server. We also designed and installed the buzzer system for the competition.
Other highlights of the event included the premiere of the largest European programming competition CODE100 and the visit of gaming legend John Romero, who presented his new biography.
